Clos Saint-Denis

Clos Saint-Denis is a Grand Cru appellation in the Cote de Nuits region. Clos Saint-Denis covers an area of over 6 hectares in the Morey-Saint-Denis commune. The vines are planted in soils composed of clay and limestone (calcareous brown soils with some pebbles, phosphorus and a large amount of clay). The wines produced in the Clos Saint-Denis appellation are exclusively Pinot Noir reds. They reveal fruit and sweet spice aromas before expressing great complexity that combine roundness and delicacy.
