A plump, broad style, with marzipan, toasted almond and bitter orange notes leading the way for mango, creamed peach and papaya flavors. Rich and honeyed, but with an alluring, shimmering energy through its long finish. Drink now through 2045. 3,324 cases made.

Gorgeous richness and juiciness, a compelling density and complexity, well constructed and poised. Refined but powerful, I love the intensity, really combines fruit fleshiness and unctuous acidity. Orange rind, but cool and fresh, not so much marmalade more honeyed oranges with lemon, lime, cinnamon, apricot, caramelised pineapple and a touch of mango, while staying cool and bright with salty hints adding nuance. Well integrated, balanced – it has a lot of sugar at 194 g but it really works! A yield of 7 hl/ha. 3.45 g total acidity. 4.0 pH.

So many aromas of dried apricots, turmeric, pine nuts and botrytis. Full-bodied with 190 grams of sugar and incredible length and richness. The salted caramel, light nuts and dried fruit go on for minutes. 100% Semillon. A great sweet wine. Drinkable already but will age for ages. Better in three or four years but already gorgeous.

The 2022 Suduiraut conveys a sense of sophistication on the nose, very well defined and a little oakier, but there is complexity. The palate is wonderful, with superb delineation, pure botrytised fruit, gentle grip and genuine mineralité on the finish. This might well constitute the best Sauternes that you can buy in 2022. There is so much going on here and so much to like about this wine; I do not know where to start. So, let's go with the beginning, and its nose is packed with honey-coated apricots, pineapples, tangerine, vanilla, and a plethora of spices. Intense, powerful, opulent, and palate-coating, what makes everything work is the blazing acidity that lifts up the sweetness that comes from its incredible 190 grams of residual sugar! This is pure decadence for lovers of sweet wines. The wine was made from 100% Semillon for only the third time in the history of the estate. Drink from 2027-2065.

Bright deep golden-yellow colour with silver reflections. Intense nuances of apricot confit, candied orange zest, fine blossom honey, fine nuances of botrytis. Textured, peach, relatively high residual sugar, long and persistent, still quite closed overall, fresh, energetic, very precise, needs at least ten years of ageing.

Honeyed orange, caramelized citrus, flowers, spice, and buttery nuances all emerge from the 2022 Château Suduiraut, a decadent Suduiraut that has a vibrant sense of freshness, perfect balance, and a gorgeous finish. It's a brilliant, opulent Sauternes that's just about impossible to resist yet should evolve for decades if well stored.

Amber in colour, with tropical notes of passion fruit and mango on the opening, clear depth of flavour and contrast from orange peel and aniseed bitterness, low acidity. Luscious, silky, powerful, enjoyable. Pierre Montégut, technical director, 7 hl/ha yields, 70% new barrels, 30% from one-wine barrels.

The magic of Christmas captured in a bouquet of aromas, delicately tied with a ribbon. Dried apricot anchors the base note, before gliding into the vibrant freshness of mandarin zest. Floral nuances of poinsettia and orange blossom intertwine with a touch of sweet spice. On the palate, the texture reveals itself as complex and generous, with notes of walnut, stretching into a delectable finish marked by hints of melting caramel.

A lovely, elegant nose—concentrated, finely knit, taut—with refined purity, subtle roundness, and an enveloping, delicate feel. Attractive freshness and a textured edge. The nose reveals notes of dried apricot, dried pineapple and, more lightly, fresh candied lemon, joined by hints of crystallized mandarin, kumquat, as well as fine touches of sweet zest, verbena, acacia blossom, almond blossom, and a delicate syrupy hint with fresh buttery/ dried fruit nuances. Beautiful, finely wrought complexity. The palate is fruity and gourmand, offering suavity, creaminess, a syrupy aspect, airy elegance, lovely concentration and density, vibrant energy, roundness, and texture. It shows notes of dried apricot, candied peach and, more lightly, roasted pineapple and marmalade, with touches of small white fruits in syrup, plus hints of acacia blossom and verbena, a delicate hint of white flowers, a subtle note of linden honey, and a toasty nuance. Lovely freshness.

Logo on the cork: PE (Parramon) Golden-yellow color with an amber hint. An intense, refined, deep, rich and complex nose, with notes of verbena and dried fruits and a touch of vanilla. Ultra-melting on the attack, graceful as it develops, with real class in the mouthfeel; always silky, the wine evolves with nobility and depth on an airy sweetness. Subtle flavors of dried fruits and rum. Superb.

Suduiraut will remain scarce again this year with its 7 hl/ha—already seven times better than in 2021! And what a charmer, with its sparkling old-gold hue, flavors of mirabelle plum, soft apricot, mango and candied kumquat, and a velvety, utterly moreish palate. 100% Sémillon and perfectly balanced.

The 2022 Suduiraut reveals a deep, complex bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, caramel, spices and mango. Medium to full-bodied, enveloping and mouth-coating, it’s long and fleshy with great depth at the core and a long, mineral, orchard-fruit-inflected finish. Entirely crafted from Sémillon and matured for 18 months in barrels (70% were new barrels), this is a classic in the making and a superb Sauternes. This has 190 grams per liter of residual sugar.
