Chateau Siaurac is located at the end of the Pomerol plateau, in Neac, in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The chateau represents three centuries of history and is established on the edge of the Barbane on the border of Pomerol.
The 46-hectare vineyard is planted in a mosaic of soils made up of gravel, deep clay and clayey sand. This exceptional Lalande-de-Pomerol vineyard is divided into 40 plots in one piece. The vineyard is in full organic conversion and already certified High Environmental Value 3.
Harvest from September 17 to October 5. Vinification in thermo-regulated frustoconical stainless steel vats. 35 days fermentation. Partial malolactic fermentation in barrels.
14 months aging. Barrels (40%), vats (60%).
Merlot (74%), cabernet franc (17%), malbec (9%).
Tasted as a wine future, the Chateau Siaurac 2019 is an elegant and charming wine. It reveals an expressive bouquet, with notes of red fruit. On the palate, this great Bordeaux wine is powerful and stretches forth on a long and fresh finish.
