This is the second wine of Peyrabon. Beautiful deep red. An aromatic nose, more precise than usual. The palate is dense from the outset, then fruity and flavorful. This wine offers lovely aroma and a somewhat square-bodied structure with persistent tannins.

2006 Haut-Medoc Second wine of Chateau Peyrabon

The 2006 Chateau Pierbone is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot produced on 45-hectare vineyard which borders Pauillac. The Chateau Peyrabon Second Wine comes from the Haut-Medoc appellation.

The vintage reveals purple colour and a lot of vigor. The super nose exudes delicate and distinguished scents reminiscent of grapevine flowers. The palate is generous yet not too powerful: a lot of finesse and elegance. This vintage is in line with superior Medoc wines with beautiful long and complex texture, fragrance, and harmonious tannins.
