A magnificent property located on the right bank of Bordeaux, Chateau Palais Cardinal takes its name from the ancient mansion dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, whose remains are still visible. Chateau Palais Cardinal enjoys a fantastic location in the Saint-Emilion appellation.
The Chateau Palais Cardinal reigns over a beautiful vineyard spread over 26 hectares of vines, aged 40 years on average, on a terroir of gravel and sand.
Manual harvest. Cold pre-fermentation maceration. Alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. Pour-overs and punch-downs.
18 months. New French oak barrels (90%), concrete tanks (10%).
Merlot (73%), cabernet sauvignon (21%), cabernet franc (6%).
