The estate
Chateau Langoa Barton is a Third Classified Growth of 1855 in the Saint-Julien appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. The property was acquired in 1821 by the influential trading company Barton & Gustier, already experienced in the production of wine from this area at Chateau Leoville Barton, acquired by this same family in 1826. Today the Barton family remains at the helm of the property.
The vineyard
The 20 hectares of productive vineyard at Chateau Langoa Barton are planted in gravel soils with clay subsoils.
The aging
The Chateau Langoa Barton 2020 is aged exclusively in barrels, 60% of which are new oak.
The blend
The Chateau Langoa Barton 2020 is made from a blend of cabernet sauvignon (53.5%), merlot (38%), cabernet franc (8.5%)

Color
The wine displays an intense purple color.
Nose
The bright nose combines fragrances of black fruits and burlat cherries with minty and spicy notes.
Palate
Dense and powerful, the palate seduces with the great precision of its tannins, its suppleness and its roundness. This wine also offers a beautiful persistence.
