A rich red wine from Saint-Julien with great character
A 3rd Classified Growth of the Saint-Julien appellation in the heart of the Medoc, Chateau Lagrange 2009 is a red wine composed of a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot. Unlike in previous vintages, Petit Verdot was excluded from the blend in this vintage of Lagrange, but the varietal can be found in the blend of Les Fiefs de Lagrange, the second wine of the chateau.
Chateau Lagrange 2009 enjoyed ideal climatic conditions resulting in the 2009 vintage becoming one of the most mythical. Of great richness and an imposing character, it offers exceptional aging potential and can be consumed at any time until 2039.
