Description
A precise and sensual Pomerol red wine
The Chateau La Connivence is located in the Pomerol appellation. The total area of the estate is 1.14 hectares on which the terroir benefits from clay and gravel soil. The 2014 vintage is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, the Chateau La Connivence 2014 offers a dark red color. The nose exudes a fragrant marriage of black fruit, floral and pollen aromas along with some light smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, medium-bodied with smooth, ample and elegant tannins. It also offers black fruit and licorice flavors. The finish is precise and superbly expresses a sensual Pomerol.
