La Confession 2014 is a classified growth ofSaint-Emilion showing straightness and tenderness while proving a great success. Plenty of aromas of black fruits can be detected in the nose creating a fresh and dynamic wine. In the mouth, the complexity of the tannins can be detected, developping into a flavourful taste. This wine is juicy and pulpy reminding of eating fresh grapes. The final touch gives a smooth and harmonious feeling.
Wine Advocate-Parker : The Château La Confession 2014 has a rather tight-lipped bouquet, the fruit present but not saying much at the moment. It may have possibly been my sample. The palate is sweet and chewy on the entry with spicy red fruit, rather firm tannin with curt finish. I'll reserve judgement to when this wine is in bottle.
