Chateau l'Evangile 2007

 1 Double-Magnum (3L)

2007 Pomerol

The 2007 growing season was characterized by unusually long maturation of the grapes. The 2007 Chateau l'Evangile displays a dark purple-garnet colour. Though still at a discreet stage, the nose will open-up rapidly. This offering from Pomerol is very round, with a generous attack, and bold fruits on the mid-palate. The finish is slightly stronger: a result of the meticulous selection of the grapes and perfect barrel ageing as confirmed by well-blended wood notes.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
This dark ruby-colored, medium-weight l'Evangile exhibits creamy blackberry and raspberry fruit, a superficial attack, but plenty of charm, silky tannin, and low acidity make for a delicious wine to drink over the next 7-8 years.
