Red wines tends to outshine their white counteparts in Bordeaux, but this is not true with the Haut Brion's 2010 white wine. A blend of 54% Sauvignon Blanc and 46% Semillion grapes, Parker praises the concentration and mineraltiy of the wine, calling it the "dry white of the vintage." On the nose he found notes of "orange marmalade, candle wax, honeysuckle and caramelized melons." Parker oringinally gave the wine a score of 94-97 but was so impressed he increased the score to 98
