Description
Henri Martin established Chateau Gloria on a Saint-Julien vineyard with an area of 50 hectares. The wine was made piece by piece for many years and on plots coming only from Classified Growths of 1855. Today, this chateau is known worldwide because of the quality of its terroir, its culture and careful vinification. The blend is 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
The Chateau Gloria 2011 has a deep purple color. On the nose, the wine has a great complexity and a good balance with aromas of red fruit and cherries, as well as vanilla fragrances. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied with a silky, velvety structure. This Chateau Gloria offers an elegant finish with a lot of freshness.
