The Chateau Fougas Maldoror is a red wine from the Cotes de Bourg. The blend is 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. In general, it spends 18 months in oak barrels. Organic and biodynamic principles are used to produce this wine. The vineyard plots are on a terroir of clay and gravel deposits, as well as Fronsac molass (sand and clay).
