Description
The typicality of a red Grand Vin from Saint-Emilion
A red Grand Vin from Saint-Emilion, the Chateau Faurie de Souchard 2018 expresses the typicality of the prestigious appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux.
Château Faurie de Souchard expands over an exceptional vineyard spread over 12 hectares of vines, enjoying a privileged location on the northern hillside of Saint-Émilion. The vines are 23 years old on average.
The Grand Vin of the estate, the Chateau Faurie de Souchard 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (75%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). The wine is aged for 14 to 16 months in new barrels (75%) and in barrels of one previous wine (25%).
Product of a beautiful vintage for the Bordeaux region, the Chateau Faurie de Souchard 2018 offers a typical expression of a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe in a vintage promising a beautiful evolution in the bottle.
