Description
An elegant Fleurie wine with a beautiful aromatic richness
The estate
Located in Odenas, in the Beaujolais appellation, Château de La Chaize boasts a rich history that harks back to the 17th century. A 150-hectare vineyard, unique in its tapestry of soils, produces fine Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly and Fleurie wines that are greatly adored in the United States and by the Courts of England. In 2017 Christophe Gruy, an industrialist from Lyon, acquired the estate with the ambition of making it one of the most prestigious references among the fine Beaujolais wines.
The vineyard
A plot-based wine, the 2020 Lieu-dit "La Chapelle des Bois" by Château de la Chaize is a Fleurie wine that stems from one of the 7 cadastral plots located within the appellation.
