Established in 1966, the Château de Chantegrive is part of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux. This family-owned Graves property is managed with passion and precision to produce essential wines from the Bordeaux region.

The vineyard

Château de Chantegrive 2023 is a Graves wine from a 43-hectare vineyard located in the heart of the Graves. The vines, about twenty years old, are planted on a terroir of gravel, rolled pebbles and fine sands on clay-limestone soil. The property is certified High Environmental Value 3.

Vinification and ageing

Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 7 to 10 days. Alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated vats. Post-fermentation maceration for 7 days. The ageing, lasting 12 months, is carried out exclusively in barrels (50% of which are new).
