Founded a little over 25 years ago, Clase Azul has become an icon among the great tequila producers. While the name of the estate refers to the bluish color of both the agave and the paint used on the handmade decanters, Clase Azul crafts spirits that invite discovery of Mexican tradition. The tequilas are made exclusively from organic blue agave grown in the highest terroirs of Jalisco, near the Pacific Ocean in Mexico. Grown for a period ranging from 6 to 8 years, the blue agave benefits from a favorable subtropical climate, giving the spirits a remarkably rich aromatic palette.

A unique blend

The Tequila Gold is the result of a blend of Tequila Plata, Tequila Reposado, and Tequila Extra Añejo. The Tequila Reposado is aged in French oak barrels, while the Extra Añejo is aged in American whiskey barrels before finishing its aging in Sherry barrels.

Appearance
