Maison Lorgeril : Key Points

Maison Lorgeril was founded in 1620 in the South of France with Chateau de Pennautier (the family's historical holding) at the core of a business that has quickly been expanding. Nicolas de Lorgeril represents the 10th generation of his family of winemakers and has been, along with his wife Miren de Saint Chamas, at the helm of the company since 1987.

Passionate about winemaking and the terroirs of the South of France, Nicolas and Miren de Lorgeril have taken it upon themselves to select the best terroirs in the Languedoc and Roussillon areas to add to their portfolio. Maison Lorgeril now includes 6 wineries and 300 hectares of vineyards divided between 9 AOC areas (Minervois, Minervois-la-Livinière, Cabardès, Faugères, Saint-Chinian, Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Maury and Languedoc). These properties all stand out for their respect for their signature terroirs through the sustainable agricultural principles employed. The vineyards are HEV (High Environmental Value) certified, guaranteeing a high level of environmental performance.
