The Étienne Sauzet estate was born from the heritage, work and passion of its founder. Étienne Sauzet's adventure began in 1903 on the fabled lands of Burgundy. For four generations, the estate has shone in the heart of the Côte de Beaune.

Today, the 15-hectare vineyard covers some of the finest Burgundy appellations. Spread across the communes of Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Cormot-le-Grand, the vineyard brings together a mosaic of exceptional terroirs. Between Village and Regional appellations and prestigious plots of Premier Crus and Grand Crus, the singularity of Chardonnay is expressed here at its best.

With the desire to take their wine to the top of each appellation, the Étienne Sauzet estate takes the greatest care of its vines. After the launch of organic viticulture by Benoît Riffault, husband to Étienne Sauzet’s great-granddaughter, the estate has been run in Ecocert-certified biodynamics since 2008.
