Domaine Jerome Chezeaux Wines : Key Points

The estate reigns over 11 hectares of vines, spreading over 16 appellations in the Cote de Nuits, namely Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanee and Vougeot. The estate's Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru red wine boasts a well-balanced, elegant and harmonious whole. The Premier Crus, stemming from Rue de Chaux, Les Pruliers, Les Vaucrains, Les Boudots and Les Chaumes are all exquisitely complex, elegant and aromatic.

The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand and sorted on the vine before undergoing a second sorting on a sorting table. Vinification is carried out over a 15 to 21-day period with regular punching down and pumping over. Fermentation occurs in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine ages for 18 to 24 months in barrel before being bottled and released.
