Established in a setting of pure nature on one of the highest points of the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, to the east of Saint-Émilion, Château Marsau oversees a vineyard of 13.60 hectares. On these clay soils, Merlot, the flagship grape variety of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, perfectly expresses its aromatic palette.

Since 2017, Mathieu Chadronnier and his wife Anne-Laurence have been at the head of this property. Respect for the environment and biodiversity is a major priority in the property's overall ecosystem, notably through a conversion to organic farming undertaken in 2018, the planting of trees, a reflection on the work of the soil and its impact on the terroir as well as exclusively manual harvesting.
