Located in Epernay, the Alfred Gratien Champagne House was founded in 1864. The house’s signature style is a continuation of the philosophy for which its founder advocates and stems from a rigorous selection of grapes, traditional vinification, volume control and respect for the terroir.

The cuvees are produced from a know-how which has been transmitted with passion and rigor for four generations and which makes up the Alfred Gratien champagnes’ signature style.

The Alfred Gratien House overlooks a 1.56-hectare vineyard amongst the Premier and Grand Crus of the Champagne wine region. The grape varieties in this terroir include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. An additional procurement is carried out for around 60 long-term partner producers.

The exclusive vinification in oak barrels since 1864 preserves the terroir’s original character and exudes all of the freshness of the wines.
