"Montlandrie has limestone soils and includes 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc grape varieties. This Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux has a very harmonious and pure nose with strawberry cake flavors with fresh raspberry, all with a touch of spice. The Montlandrie 2010 has just a little reduction, but it will open very quickly. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth, fine-grained tannins. It extends on the palate with sensual black cherry and a touch of bergamot. This wine has a refined finish.”
