Wine Advocate-Parker : Deep garnet colored, the 2010 La Fleur de Gay features a lot of cedar/oak to begin, giving way to a core of black cherry preserves, warm blueberries and spice cake plus wafts of tobacco and new leather. Full-bodied, the palate has an abundance of rugged, chewy tannins with rather attenuated fruit and a rustic finish.
