Francs Magnus reveals a structured and fruity Bordeaux wine
The estate
Chateau Francs Magnus is a 13 hectare property situated on a limestone plateau.
Vinification and aging
Once sorted, the grapes went through vinification in stainless steel and cement vats without crushing in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Daily pump-overs and punch-downs were carried out. Aging took place for 70% in vats and 30% in second-fill barrels.
The blend
Produced in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, the Chateau Franc Magnus 2020 was made from a blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
