Bandol is an appellation of Provence which extends across 1,480 hectares shared between the communes of Bandol, Le Beausset, Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur, Ollioules, Saint Cyr-sur-mer, Sainte-Anne d'Evenos and Sanary-sur-mer.

The vines of the Bandol appellation are planted in an amphitheatre between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sainte Baume massif, on well-drained terraces, made up of marl and limestone, guaranteeing deep rooting and sufficient water supply. The Mediterranean microclimate, with plenty of sunshine and low rainfall, is compensated for by the Mistral wind, which gives the vines a healthy protection.

The wines of the Bandol appellation can be red (mostly Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault), white (Clairette, Ugni Blanc, Bourboulenc) and rosé (Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault).

The reds, considered by certain connoisseurs to be among the best in Provence, are powerful, refined and have great character. The Bandol whites are lively, fresh and harmonious. Finally, the rosés are rounded, alluring and very generous.
