A Saint-Estephe Grand Vin bearing the signature of Bernard Magrez

It was in 2016 that one of the most famous wine moguls of the Bordeaux wine world - Bernard Magrez - acquired the Bernard Magrez property.

With 4.37 hectares of vines planted on great terroirs of gravel, and clay-limestone, Chateau Bernard Magrez is an important reference of the Saint-Estephe appellation, on the left bank of the Bordeaux region. This vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir with a great diversity of soils, as well as a favorable weather conditions thanks to the proximity of the estuary. Driven by the will of Bernard Magrez, Chateau Bernard Magrez remains forever in pursuit of the ambition to produce great wines, which are rare and exceptional.

The Chateau Bernard Magrez 2018 is made from a blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%). The wine undergoes an integral vinification in barrel. The aging takes place in new oak barrels (35%), barrels of second use (35%) and in jars (10%).

The result of a great vintage for the Bordeaux region, the Chateau Bernard Magrez 2018 presents all the qualities of an exceptional Saint-Estephe wine, bearing the signature of Bernard Magrez.
