Héritage du Pic Saint-Loup : Key Points

Founded in 1951, the Ravaille family has succeeded in turning Ermitage du Pic Saint-Loup into one of the most renowned estates in the Pic Saint-Loup and in the Languedoc area. Jean-Marc, Pierre and Xavier Ravaille, three brothers, have taken over the running of the family business with great passion and are all driven by the will to follow an exacting philosophy in order to produce great wines.

Constantly seeking perfection, the three brothers work with the greatest respect for the terroir by carrying out natural and biodynamic practices. No pesticides are used and the grapes are harvested entirely by hand when the fruit is perfectly ripe. The estate is currently in the process of obtaining an organic farming certificate.

Ermitage du Pic Saint-Loup's extensive terroirs composed of clay and limestone, red earth, gravel and pebbles give rise to parcel-based vintages, produced in the Coteaux du Languedoc AOC, that perfectly express the unique features of the Pic Saint-Loup.

From the 2021 vintage, the Ermitage du Pic Saint-Loup estate will change its name to Héritage du Pic Saint-Loup.
