Since its foundation in 2012, Hacienda San Juan has been cultivating its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines using organic and biodynamic farming practices. Basking in the Chilean sun, the grapes attain a surprisingly harmonious expression and truly reflect the beauty of the San Juan terroir, located to the northwest of Chile’s capital, Santiago.

The estate’s Chardonnay vines enjoy a cooling breeze, provided by the Pacific Ocean. The pale color of this wine and its impressive freshness and well-balanced acidity, reveal notes of tropical fruits such as mangoes, along with notes of white peach. The ensemble is complex, and well-balanced, weaving into a lingering finish.

Thriving in the San Juan area, the Pinot Noir varietal enjoys the maritime influence on its climate. The grapes give rise to ruby red wines whose elegant tannins unfurl on the palate with ease. The characteristic aromas of this varietal, black and red fruit, come to the fore beautifully.
