Since 1981, the Eikendal Wine farm has been owned by the Saager family of Zurich, Switzerland. The team at Eikendal operates under the belief that great grapes make great wine. It is with this philosophy that much of their energy goes into the vines and tending to the vineyards. Located in the Helderberg Ward with the near by Helderberg Mountains and False Bay, the growing conditions are optimal. Seeing this potential the Saager family quickly established the cellar as well as modernized the existing vineyards.
