An elegant and full Saint-Julien Second Wine

The estate

Chateau Lagrange, a celebrated estate in Saint-Julien, is known for its meticulous approach and dedication to quality. The estate's vineyards produce wines that exemplify the region's rich heritage and terroir.

The vineyard

Situated in the esteemed Saint-Julien region, the vineyards benefit from fine gravel soils for Cabernet Sauvignon and clay soils for Merlot. This terroir, combined with a favorable climate, imparts a perfect balance of acidity and tannins to the wine, resulting in a well-rounded and expressive Bordeaux blend.

Vinification and Aging

The grapes are hand-harvested from 30-year-old vines on average and undergo strict sorting before fermentation. Aging occurs in French oak barrels to enhance complexity and depth.

Blend

Cabernet Sauvignon (55%)
Merlot (41%)
Petit Verdot (4%)
