Medium-bodied, the palate is dense, supple, and highly elegant. Its silky texture is supported by perfectly integrated tannins. Indulgent flavors unfold through to a fresh and persistent finish.

Food and wine pairings

Thanks to its fruity and elegant profile, this red wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, poultry, or a selection of aged cheeses.

Serving and cellaring

Approachable in its youth, this 2019 vintage can be enjoyed now, but will continue to evolve favorably in the cellar over the coming years.

The elegance and complexity of a Lalande de Pomerol wine

The estate

Château La Gravière, located on the right bank of Bordeaux, is part of the Libournais winemaking tradition. Long held by local families, the estate has benefited from expertise passed down through generations. The property is now part of the Château des Annereaux group, recognized for its expertise in Lalande-de-Pomerol. This technical continuity has helped structure the vineyard and refine the style of the wines.

The vineyard

The vineyard thrives within the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The vines benefit from ideal climatic conditions and grow on soils typical of the right bank, allowing the grape varieties to develop great aromatic complexity.

Winemaking and aging

The production philosophy is distinguished by the pursuit of optimal ripeness at harvest, extremely rigorous berry selection, and precise parcel-by-parcel vinification to preserve the authentic expression of the terroir.

Grape varieties
Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
