Description
The 2014 Fronsac La Dauphine is brilliant and reproduces the characteristics of the sunny vintage (incredible Indian summer on the wine regions of Bordeaux). This wine of Chateau de La Dauphine displays an inky, dense red colour with blue highlights. The rich and scrumptious nose gives off juicy, fleshy black fruits, followed by some unique blue cedar expressions on swirling. The attack is bold on the palate. The latter then offers an elegant tannic structure whose tannins are creamy, almost thick, leaving a pleasant silky sensation on the palate. The finish is fruity and persistent. This wine is a quality Fronsac.
