A 4th Classified Growth of the official classification of 1855, Chateau Branaire-Ducru is one of the most beautiful properties of the Medoc, specifically of the Saint-Julien appellation on the Left Bank of Bordeaux.

Although the 2017 vintage was not without its challenges, the Chateau Branaire Ducru 2017 already reveals a vibrant and expressive personality and structure.
The blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) typical of the wines from the Medoc region. This signature varietal is completed by Merlot (24%), Cabernet Franc (4.5%) and Petit Verdot (6.5%).
Truly a wine of great character, the Chateau Branaire-Ducru 2017 reveals an olfactory palette that combines in harmony a fruit nature and great complexity. The wine expresses great freshness and elegance on the palate, following a bold attack. Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine a strong tannic structure, delicately chiseled by a great finesse and remarkable acidity. The finish offers beautiful length.
