Description

A fruity and sweet Blue Bottle Moscato

The producer

Bartenura is a kosher wine manufacturer whose name comes from 15th century Italian rabbi Rabbi Ovadia ben Avraham of Bertinoro. The wines are sourced from the Provincia di Pavia region of Italy and have been hugely successful among wine lovers.

The wine

Easily recognizable for its vibrant packaging, which has earned it the nickname « Blue Bottle Moscato, » Bartenura Moscato was actually the very first wine to be sold in a blue glass bottle. This is a kosher wine, slightly effervescent and sweet, meant to be enjoyed in its youth as an every-day wine.

The blend

The Bartenura Moscato is made with 100% Moscato grapes.

The tasting

Color

This Moscato reveals a pale straw yellow color and a smooth effervescence in the glass.

Nose

This sweet sparkling wine reveals sweet and crisp aromas of pears and ripe melons, along with wildflowers and honey.

Palate

The palate is consistent with the nose, offering sweet flavors of melons, pears and agave.

Serving

This wine is made to be enjoyed in its youth. We recommend serving it chilled to 40 to 45° Fahrenheit.

Food and wine pairing

This Moscato will pair nicely with a fresh fruit salad or fruit-based desserts.
