Description
Girasole means sunflower in Italian, an homage to the tall yellow flowers that cover the Tuscan hillsides - and it doesn't hurt that it's Jordan's mother's favorite. It also invokes the sunflower logo of the Tory Burch Foundation - a source of inspiration to Jordan as she founded Bellus Wines. A blend of roughly equal parts Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon from organically managed vineyards on the Casanuova delle Cerbaie estate in Montalcino, the Bellus Girasole is Tuscan in character to its core. Ten dollars per case of the Girasole is donated by Bellus to The Tory Burch Foundation, which empowers women entrepreneurs and their families through microfinance and mentorship.
