Chateau du Moulin-à-Vent : Couvent des Thorins 2014

Sourced from the vineyards of La Delatte, Les Rouchaux and Les Maisonneuvesin, this pure expression of Gamay benefits from it’s the diverse terroirs and mature vines averaging 40 years of age. No carbonic maceration, and barrel aged for 14 months in used French Oak, the Couvent des Thorins opens up with earthy red fruit and Indian spices. The palate is fills with round and supple tannins, leading to a soft and tea like finish.
