Williams Selyem’s 2014 Westside Road Neighbors has distinct red fruit aromas, more specifically cranberries and red raspberries. Notes of pencil lead and minerality are qualities of the Westside Roads’ gravel-based hillsides. Fresh fruit with a slightly gamey characteristic thanks to the cloned Pommard grape variety. This 100% Pinot Noir presents flavors of cherries and raspberries, with a touch of smokiness and earthiness. The tannins are full-bodied and well-structured. The finish is powerful and with lingering minerality.
