Description
The Josetta Saffirio Langhe Langhe comes from the commune of Monforte d'Alba. The soils of this commune are called Elveziano: a mixture of ancient marine deposits, lime, clay and sand. This wine is a blend of 90% Nebbiolo and 10% Merlot, hand harvested and vinified separately in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then transferred to oak barrels for 12 months before being blended and bottled. The Josetta Saffirio Langhe Nebbiolo is a lively garnet red, with dried fruit and raspberries on the nose. On the palate it express finely balanced tannin and acidity, with a velvety texture that leads to a long and lingering finish.
