The power of a fruity Grand Cru de Saint-Emilion
Unanimously acclaimed by the press and international critics, Chateau Palais Cardinal 2015 is a great vintage for this beautiful property.
Located on the right bank of Bordeaux, in the south of the appellation Saint-Emilion, the Chateau Palais Cardinal watches over an exceptional vineyard located in the commune of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens with vines aged 40 years on average and sandy-gravelly soils.
Hand-picked, the grapes are then subjected to a selection process with densimetric sorting. A great wine of the estate, Chateau Palais Cardinal 2015 is made from a blend of Merlot (75%), from Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). The wine is aged for 15 months in new oak barrels.
