Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon 2016: a Pauillac with wonderful tension

Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon is a red wine produced in the Pauillac appellation. This Cru Bourgeois is planted with vines that are, on average, 20 years old and covers just over 7 hectares. The terroir is composed of sandy gravel on clay subsoil. The 2016 harvest took place in two phases. Merlot was harvested from September 29^th - October 6^th, while Cabernet Sauvignon was picked on October 12^th, 15^th and 18^th.

At the tasting, Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon 2016 develops lively floral fragrances. The wine is very fresh, medium-bodied and extremely elegant. The tannins are beautiful, as is the tension in the finish. Can be enjoyed throughout 2027-2032.
