Description
The expression of a Grand Cru Classe of Margaux
A 3rd Grand Cru Classe of Margaux, Chateau Desmirail is located on the left bank of Bordeaux, and is blessed with a rich past, with origins dating back to the seventeenth century.
The Grand Vin of the property, the Chateau Desmirail 2018 is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (50%) and Petit Verdot (10%).
For this great 2018 vintage from Chateau Desmirail, the harvest began on September 24 under bright sunshine and excellent climatic conditions due to strong thermal amplitudes. The harvest ended on October 5th with the Cabernet. Reminiscent of the exceptional 2016, the Chateau Desmirail 2018 is in line with the greatest years of the property.
