A powerful and gourmand Sauternes wine
A very old property in the Bordeaux region, Chateau de Malle bears witness to a rich winemaking history, with vineyards cultivated as early as the 15th century.
Situated south of Bordeaux, Chateau de Malle expands over 28 hectares of vines planted in the communes of Fargues and Preignac. This clay-gravel soil is at the origin of the greatest Sauternes wines.
The Chateau de Malle 2018 was produced from fruit harvested at the ideal stage of development of the famous noble rot, when the berries were "roasted." The wine shows the typicity of a great Sauternes from an exceptional vintage. This powerful vintage shows off a beautifully gourmand texture on the palate, stretching into a very persistent length. A beautiful reference from its vintage.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Pale lemon-gold, the 2018 de Malle is a little closed at this nascent stage, giving way to baked lemons, orange marmalade and lime cordial scents plus wafts of marzipan, candied ginger and lemongrass. The palate has a wonderful spring in its step with bags of zesty fruit and spicy sparks, finishing long with tropical flare.
