The aromatic purity of a fruit-forward and smooth white Grand Vin from Graves

A pure expression of the terroirs of Graves, the Chateau Couhins White 2018 offers the experience of a magnificent white wine from Pessac-Leognan.

Produced by the Grand Cru Classe of Graves Chateau Couhins, the Chateau Couhins White 2018 has an aromatic profile marked by the imprint of Sauvignon Blanc. Intensely expressive and of great aromatic purity, the bouquet literally springs from the glass, opening on the acidic freshness of citrus, evoking lemon zest and mandarin. Beautiful notes of green apple, along with floral and smoky notes appear next. On the palate, the wine presents a superb definition, evolving a great roundness and generosity. The juicy fruit is balanced by a strong tension and a bracing acidity, which continues into a persistent and aromatic finish. A white Pessac-Leognan of character in a great vintage for Bordeaux.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The Couhins 2018 Blanc comes bounding out of the glass with vibrant pineapple, guava and passion fruit scents plus nuances of lemon drops, wild thyme and crushed rocks. Medium-bodied, it gives a good intensity of citrus and tropical fruit with a lively backbone and herbal lift on the finish.
