The estate
Founded in 1919, the Pierre Peters House is located in Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards. For 6 generations, the Pierre Peters Champagne House has been exclusively dedicated to the production of Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne. Finesse, minerality, purity, lightness, freshness and elegance, the vintages by the Pierre Peters Champagne House exhibit one of the most beautiful expressions of the Cote des Blancs.
The vineyard
Looking after a vineyard that is spread over a little more than 19 hectares, the Pierre Peters House enjoys an exceptional heritage since these vines are only located on prestigious Cote des Blancs growths in the Champagne region, such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. The estate’s numerous plots are located on a hillside and are rooted in a chalky soil. Exclusively making up the vineyard, the Chardonnay grapes benefit from an eastern sun exposure.

L'Esprit Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2015 comprises a blend of four of the most beautiful vineyards in the Cotes des Blancs: Le Mesnil, Avize, Cramant and Oger. This champagne is only made following the best years.

The tasting
Color
L'Esprit Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2015 has a luminous young color with the typical green hues of Chardonnay. The effervescence mirrors this champagne’s utter finesse.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet is marked by floral fragrances such as hawthorn and acacia, but also citrus fruits and roasted hazelnuts. The nose then reveals, a beautiful minerality and brings a lot of complexity and elegance.
Palate
Esprit Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2015 is a powerful and refreshing champagne. The finesse brought by white fruits, lemon, tangerine and toast is impressive. The finish is very long.
