Description
100% Viognier sourced from vineyards in the village of Chavanay,right outside of the Condrieu AOC, planted to granite-infused soil. All grapes are hand-picked, and left to settle in the cellar. The fermentations (alcoholic and malo-lactic) are done in temperature controlled stainless steel vats with native yeasts. Wines are aged 6 months on the lees in vats and barriques.
The Les Vignes d’a’Cote 2014 Viognier is musky and exotic, with expressive aromas of citrus, riper stone fruits (apricot), and white flowers. Juicy and round on the palate with excellent acidity and energy on the finish.
