Description
From the De Martino winery, located in the Maipo Valley of Chile, comes the Xavier Flouret Oscar. The vines for this Cabernet Sauvignon are grown near the Maipo River, where the rows are situated to shade the grapes from direct sunlight. The result is a balanced wine with wonderful freshness of fruit. Beginning its organic practices in 1998, this pioneer is the second largest organic producer in Chile. The intense yet delicate palate is packed with fresh fruits and balanced by a nicely structured acidity. The perfect weather conditions in 2011 paved the way for a Xavier Flouret Oscar of exceptional balance with lower alcohol and more freshness than previous vintages.
