Vina Cobos : Felino Malbec 2012

Under the Viña Cobos label comes the Felino Malbec. All of the Felino wines carry the same design on the label inspired by Argentine aboriginal artwork. The Felino Malbec displays a rich red hue with shades of purple and blue. On the nose one will notice floral tones as well as mixed ripe red berries and nuances of vanilla, a result of the eight months this wine spends in barrel prior to bottling. On the palate, in addition to the rich fruit profile, the flavor of dark chocolate lies in the background. While this wine is labeled as a Malbec, there are also small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blended in to give the Viña Cobos Felino Malbec a unique profile with freshness and balance.
