Description
A traditional Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, the Woodhouse Wine Estate Darighe is a rich, complex, full bodied red from the Columbia Valley. Aged for just over two years in 100% French oak barrels 75% of which are new, the Woodhouse Darighe shows a broad aromatic range of floral notes, mocha, smoke, blackberries, and spices. These flavors are echoed on the palate, which is soft, plush, and elegant with a long finish. Darighe means red in Gaelic and is meant as a tribute to Sinead Bijal s Irish heritage.
