Description
The San Salvatore Fiano is produced from organically and biodynamically farmed vines planted within the Cilento national park on hillsides between 1,300 and 1,500 feet above sea level. It is harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness before being bottled in 500ml bottles - even in the smaller bottle, only about 500 cases are produced. The Fiano from San Salvatore shows an exotic profile of rich, ripe fruits, along with a mineral and saline type quality. A robust, white that can stand up to fuller flavored dishes, its fresh if subtle acidity perfectly balances the ripe, round fruit flavors.
